Except due to COVID-19, we get-together on the 3rd Tuesday evening of each month which is open to all. This is a social, informal occasion at which members get together for dinner at a local restaurant to talk over local, state, national and world affairs.

Anne Arundel Peace Action

Anne Arundel Peace Action is the local chapter of the nation’s largest grassroots peace and disarmament organization. Nationally, Peace Action has more than 100,000 members. The Anne Arundel chapter, which was founded in 1982, represents approximately 300 households.

We Make A Difference

We have received awards from our national organization for our visibility in promoting peace and justice in one of the most military oriented communities in the East and for our efforts at diversifying our membership racially and ethnically.

A Diverse and Inclusive People

Peace begins with recognizing the common interests of a healthy society.  We welcome and support peaceful activists of all colors, ethnicities, and religions.  Our chapter provides a forum to connect and support peace in our local community.

"Peace is the dream of the wise; war is the history of man."

– Richard Burton, 1865
